Guys..i have noticed that so many other members has already been complained about the getting Red dots for no reason...i got the red for this post for just a spell mistake. please pardon my ignorance but I was under the assumption that labor subsitution policy was discontinued by the USCIS on july 16 2007...........

1) if you have money and time u can do as many trades as u like ( no restrictions ) even u can execute a trade every minute ( provided ur employer won't mind )
2) Taxes has to be reported only on closing of position ( either in capital gain / loss ) as said by others
FYI: for tax terms refer captial gains tax details ( as of now more than 1 year holding 15%, less than a year is > 15% etc., )

I applied for labor on Oct16, 2007, labor approved on Dec 3 07, I140 applied on April 8th( within 180 days ), I140 Approved on July 28. Just wondering if this is something i should be concerned about..

I think, if you don't have labor doc, you can go to FLCDataCenter.com (http://www.flcdatacenter.com/) and search for MS Access document for the year when you file for the labor. If you have the number from the LC doc, search for that number in the access file and you will find the details of your case.

i invoked ac21 twice..never asked even a single question to the employers, infact my current job title is not even close to the job title that my labor was filed long time ago, i am very confident, i will change my mind and go back to india for good, before my PD of jan 2003-India becomes current. just cant ruin my career and life thinking about things that are not in our control..just my opinion, not an advice. if u get struck with a sick job for years due to the GC mess, it justifies itself for all these decisions. even if they issue an RFE and my GC gets denied, i care a less about it, cos it lost its importance when it took this long..atleast i am doing some work right now which will help my career on a long term basis.

Can you tell us when did you resubmit your application and what fee did they accept..old or new. A friend of mine resubmitted his application a few days ago with new fee... his original app was rejected earlier because his attorney sent thre wrong fee amount...(neither new nor old..)

I am inclined to believe that you are approved.. they just haven't updated their system yet or mabybe the system didn't get updated somehow.
I dont have any changes to status when I check my 485 case status online but today in the mail i received I797c notice welcoming me as a premenant residence. I am a bit hesitant to celebrate, but am I seeing green?:o

I dont think he/she is going for his/her stamping, so I dont see a need for all the other documents listed. Depending on the flight being taken, a transit vis may be necessary

These are documents which have to be carried. There is no confirmation that he/she wil be asked but if asked they have the documents on hand. I got stuck in immigration for 4 hours when they asked me all the above documents. So i believe in better safe than sorry
On a side note this happened when i was travelling back from India via Lufthansa
